About Cedars Christian College

Leading lives forward with results that take them further

Cedars is a Prep to Year 12 independent private school located just 10 kilometres south of Wollongong in the heart of the beautiful Illawarra. Cedars’ commitment to education begins by surrounding our students in a safe and trusted environment, where Christian values are evident in all we do. It’s positive learning where potential isn’t just recognised, it’s nurtured, and where leadership development doesn’t apply to some, but empowers all. It’s intentional thinking that results in leading students forward by equipping them to go further in life. And as they do, they’ll be impacting the world around them.

Enrolment Policy

Cedars Christian College was founded primarily to serve the Christian families of the Illawarra region. It is the College's aim to maintain this priority while admitting children from non-church going families provided that the home and the student are actively supportive of the aims and objectives of the College. All families seeking enrolment will be asked if they can actively support the Christian values of the school, recognize that the teaching is based on the College's statement of faith and support the distinctive Christian ethos of the College. Cedars will seek enrolment from families who desire a Christian Education for their children, who agree to the College's aims and objectives and support the Cedars Christian College Statement of Faith.

The school's sports facilities cater to basketball, netball, football and soccer (indoor and outdoor).

Before and After School Care

Outside School Hours Care Program Details Cedars Christian College offers after school care and vacation care (new in 2017) programs to students currently enrolled at the College. Children in Vacation Care will also have opportunities to participate in other activities such as cooking, art & craft and occasional excursions.
